2024 ARToberfest Home Brewer Rules and Application

Participating brewers will transport their brew(s) to the event, serve samples of their home brew(s) to event attendees, and remove their brew(s) and equipment when the event is over. NCLAC will produce a “Beer Menu” to pass out the night of the event that will feature at least one of each Brewer’s beers.

Please fill out as many of these forms as needed. We need one form for each brew you plan to bring. Brewers are encouraged to bring their own signage to advertise their brew(s).

COMPETE FOR: Judge's Choice Award, People’s Choice Award, & Brewer’s Choice Award

The Judge’s Choice Award will be given to the brewer/brew chosen by the elected judge, the People’s Choice Award will be given to the attendees’ favorite brew, and the Brewer’s Choice Award will be chosen by past and present home brewers before the end of the night. A brewer may enlist one volunteer to help serve the brew(s).

Trophies are awarded at the end of the night. Registered Brewers and their volunteers will be admitted to the event for free, and they will receive the 2024 commemorative pint glass and t-shirt. Brewers and volunteers must be 21 or older.

Brewer Participation Requirements:

• Brewers are limited to FOUR (4) different brews they may enter for competition.

• Brewers must bring at least 200 sample servings (2-3 oz) of each brew prepared for competition and must adhere to pouring rules according to NCLAC’s event permit.

• Brewers must provide for all storage and pouring needs their brew(s) at the event.

• Please label and monitor all personal property brought to the event. NCLAC, the event venue, and any volunteers recruited by NCLAC are not liable for any property damaged or stolen in association with this event.

• Brewers must arrive by 3:30pm the day of the event to check in, receive their event passes, and set up. Brewer volunteers must come by 4pm to check in and receive their event passes.

• Brewers, or their volunteers, must remain at their stations until all their brew(s) is/are gone, or until the closing of the event at 10pm, whereby they are then responsible for cleaning their station and removing their materials.

• Brewers and their volunteers must act in a professional and courteous manner to all event attendees. NCLAC will have volunteers and security personnel prepared to step in should anyone need assistance. Brewers are liable for the behavior of their volunteers.
